First Aid Training for PT BKJL Employees

June 11 2026, Subang – As a demonstration of its commitment to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), PT. Bandar Krida Jala (BKJL) held a First Aid in Accidents training, collaborating with the healthcare team from UPTD Puskesmas Pusakanagara, Subang.

The event was officially opened by PT BKJL Director, Joko Edi S., on Thursday, June 11, 2026. In his remarks, he stressed the importance of all personnel being prepared to handle emergency situations. Echoing this sentiment, the Head of UPTD Puskesmas Pusakanagara, Dr. Ade Wawan, commended the company’s initiative in strengthening occupational health synergy within the industrial environment.

Essential Basic Life Support and Disaster Management

Moving into the core session, Dr. Kharisma Fatimathul, a general practitioner from UPTD Puskesmas Pusakanagara, delivered material on Basic Life Support (BLS). In her presentation, participants were equipped with crucial knowledge covering the fundamental steps to take before providing aid, up to the procedures for assisting cardiac arrest victims using Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) techniques.

Beyond focusing solely on medical emergencies, Dr. Kharisma also shared knowledge on first aid for drowning victims, managing hypothermia, and the proper actions to take in the event of a flood disaster. This material was deemed highly relevant given the high potential risks within the company's operational areas.

Techniques for Handling Fractures to Venomous Bites

The next session was led by Dr. Alvian Riziq from UPTD Puskesmas Pusakanagara, who thoroughly covered the handling of bone fractures. He presented in detail everything from causes, types, and symptoms, to the correct splinting procedures to avoid worsening the victim’s condition. In addition, participants were also equipped with techniques for handling snake bites and other venomous animal bites, managing heatstroke, and providing first aid to victims of electric shock.

High Enthusiasm in the Practical Session

The highlight of the activity was an interactive practical session. Guided by Rocandi, S.Kep., an Emergency Department nurse from UPTD Puskesmas Pusakanagara, participants enthusiastically practiced CPR techniques and fracture management directly. A question-and-answer session was also opened to ensure all participants fully understood the tutorials, enabling them to apply the skills correctly in the field.

Through this training, all employees are expected to apply the knowledge gained in their daily work activities, both in the office and in the field.
