PT BKJL Recruits Casual Daily Drivers

June 4 2026, Subang – PT Bandar Krida Jala (BKJL) has once again demonstrated its commitment to empowering local communities by holding a recruitment test for casual daily workers (PHL). This time, the company is offering opportunities to residents of Kotasari, Gempol, Kalentambo, Pusakajaya, Pusakaratu, and Patimban villages, which are areas directly affected by the construction of Patimban Port.

A total of 21 eligible candidates took part in the two-day selection process held on Thursday and Friday (June 4–5). The selection consisted of several stages, including health checks, psychological assessments, a driving test, and a computer skills test for prospective staff members.

On the first day, participants underwent health and psychology tests before immediately facing an obstacle course prepared by the committee. On the second day, they also took a driving test on public roads, allowing their real-world driving abilities to be assessed objectively.

“BKJL always strives to provide opportunities to communities whose surroundings are impacted by this national strategic project. In addition to obtaining reliable workers, this initiative also serves as a form of corporate social responsibility towards the residents around Patimban Port,” said a representative of BKJL’s HRD management during the event.

The company hopes that this area-based recruitment will boost local economic growth while ensuring that safety and skill standards are met. The selection test results for the candidates will be announced openly and objectively.
